The Secret of Field/Place Betting

How about the secret of profiting with field/place mix bets?

The area guess, when used by itself, is not a excellent bet. It must be used with other bets or in a development to produce it profitable for the skilled crapshooter. These seven different area figures (2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12) can be built a complete of only 16 times, leaving 20 for the other numbers. If your 5, 6, 7, or 8 sheets you lose. When you position an area guess by itself, you’ll get 16 times and lose 20 times (in 36 theoretical rolls). And, the area only pays off 1:1 – that is, if you guess $5, you get $5. As an example, if you guess $5 on the area and the 4 sheets, you’ll get just $5 (at 1:1) as opposed to the $9 (at 9:5) you’d get if you placed the 4.

Wanna know the strategies that craps advantages use to generate income from field/place betting?

Let’s find out!

The seven area figures can be built a complete of 16 times. The 6 and 8 can be rolled five times, the 5 four times, and the 7 six times. When you guess on the 5, 6 and 8 along with the area, you can get 30 times (16 + 10 + 4) and lose simply to the 7, which sheets six times.

You can position $25 on the 5, $30 on the 6 and 8, and $20 on the field. If the 5, 6 or 8 roll, you get $35 and lose $20, giving you a $15 profit. If the 2 or 12 roll, you get $40 (field pays double on 2 and 12). And if the 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 roll, you get $20.

The trick to this, needless to say, isn’t leaving every thing up so that it can get whacked by the 7. You must wait for a come-out 7 when you make this guess, leave all your bets up for one roll only, and then take every thing down. Then wait for another come-out 7 before you begin betting again.

For smaller bankrolls, try placing the 5 for $5, the 6 and 8 for $6 each, and $2 on the field. Again wait for a come-out 7 first, and leave your bets up for one roll only. You’ll get $2 on the 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11, $5 ($7 – $2) on the 5, 6 or 8, and, $4 on the 2 or 12.

Next time you wish to guess inside, try betting the area also – but simply for one roll!

Pssst… So you know the strategies of field/place betting!
